Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Micro OTP ("microotp.com", "we", "us"), a service that provides temporary phone numbers for receiving SMS verification codes. By creating an account, topping up a balance, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

1. The service

Micro OTP lets you rent a phone number for a limited time in order to receive a single SMS verification code from a third-party service (for example, a messaging or social platform). Numbers are sourced from upstream providers and are shared across the market — we do not control the underlying carriers, the sender, or the content of messages.

• Each order covers one number for one target service, and expires automatically after a short window.
• A number is provided solely to receive the requested verification code; it is not a general-purpose phone line and cannot send messages or make calls.
• We do not guarantee that any given service will accept the number, nor that an SMS will arrive — see the Refund Policy for how undelivered orders are handled.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@microotp.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or present a fraud risk.

3. Payments and balance

• Orders are paid from a prepaid USD balance. You fund the balance through the payment methods offered at checkout (Mobile Money, card checkout, or cryptocurrency) via our payment partners.
• Prices are displayed in your chosen display currency but settled in USD; conversion rates shown are indicative and may differ slightly from your payment provider's rate.
• Balance credit is not a deposit, earns no interest, is non-transferable, and may only be spent on the service. Except where required by law or stated in the Refund Policy, balance is not redeemable for cash.
• You authorize us and our processors to charge the payment method you select. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute may result in suspension while it is investigated.

4. Numbers and verification codes

• A delivered code is displayed on your order page. Once a code is received and shown, the order is considered fulfilled.
• Numbers are temporary: after an order ends you cannot reuse the number or recover the account it verified. Do not use our numbers as the only recovery method for accounts you intend to keep.
• You are responsible for what you do with the accounts you verify. Micro OTP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any third-party service you verify.

5. Acceptable use

You must use the service lawfully and in line with the Acceptable Use Policy. Fraud, spam, evasion of law enforcement, and other prohibited conduct may result in immediate termination and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

6. Availability and warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, the availability of numbers for a particular service or country, or the delivery of any SMS. Upstream providers, carriers, and the platforms sending codes are outside our control.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Micro OTP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost accounts, lost profits, or actions taken by third-party services against accounts you verified. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirement. On termination, unused balance may be forfeited where the account was closed for abuse, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
